Color Photo Movie Review
Review: The film has always felt promising since the teaser and music for the Colour Photo movie were released. The premise is straightforward, but the writing is mind-blowing. Any love tale needs dialogue, but the way director Sandeep Raj employs them during key scenes makes this one stand out.
The film is set in the late 1990s, when individuals casually discriminate based on skin color, believing that fair-skinned women are too demanding for dark-skinned men. What’s more amusing is that a few individuals in the film think things will change by 2020. Kannada is a briliant student with big ambitions. He has feelings for Deepti, a classmate, but fails to convey them to her. His character’s innocence is nicely preserved, and the humor is top-notch. Kannada has a sidekick named Bala Yesu (Harsha Chemudu), who is the film’s true star. Bala Yesu’s character is so pure that he looks adorable even when he swears at people. The first half of the film is like a cool breeze from the countryside. You also read another review of Raktanchal Season 2.
The film’s second half starts as a cheerful story, but it quickly becomes a roller coaster of emotions. Sandeep Raj strikes gold once again by delivering the level in a thought-provoking manner. He demonstrates his brilliance by presenting unpleasant realities without sugarcoating them. The happy-go-lucky film gradually transforms into an emotional rollercoaster, and the same lovely naivety that captivated audiences in the first half will break hearts in the pre-climax parts. The screenplay is excellent again, and Sandeep will be remembered for his writing in the picture rather than his direction. But if there’s one thing that disappoints, it’s the decision to ignore the harsh Rama Raju and leave his persona alone. Color Photo movie, on the other hand, comes out on top.
With Colour Photo, Suhas has once again proven his acting prowess. Every element, including the way he moves along the cycle without breaking it, is so natural. At the very least, Chandini’s reactions and performance in this film could inspire authors to create influential roles for her. Sunil is fantastic in his part as the adversary, which comes as no surprise. And the man of the hour is unquestionably Harsha. In this film, the chemistry between Harsha and Suhas is just as vital as the chemistry between the main characters, and the lads nailed it. The soundtrack by Kaala Bhairava is perfect, and the other technicalities went smoothly.
Because of its deliberate slowness, Color Photo movie necessitates careful viewing. It does, however, have a lot to cheer for. For defying Telugu cinema’s norms, the team deserves a pat on the back. Following in the footsteps of Mallesham and Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya, this is another film that praises the ordinary man as a hero. That’s a positive thing.
Color Photo movie not only has everything a decent love story needs, but it also has everything a good film needs. This is a must-see.
